OPPO Reno series phones support unlocking BootLoader-EEWORLD
Today we went to OPPO's ColorOS forum and found that the OPPO Reno series phones released in April already support unlocking the BootLoader (OPPO said it was a deep test). This is good news for enthusiasts holding this series of phones. The specific unlocking steps are as follows:
【Application conditions for joining the in-depth test】
Applications must meet all of the following criteria:
1. The model must have been on the market for more than 3 months;
2. No application record within 60 days;
3. The last consecutive login time of the OPPO account on this device exceeds 60 days;
4. The number of in-depth test users has not reached the upper limit;
5. Non-government, enterprise and operator customized mobile phones;
6. Support mobile phones launched in mainland China.
【Instructions for applying to join the in-depth test】
1. Joining the test plan may cause unpredictable impact on your phone;
2. Third-party firmware may cause some functions of the phone to not work properly, such as camera photography. It may also cause damage to the device;
3. Personal security and privacy on mobile phones may be leaked, and security can not be guaranteed;
4. After joining the beta program, some system functions may be modified, which will affect the system version upgrade and make it impossible to experience the latest ColorOS services;
5. After joining the test plan, the phone status is equivalent to restoring factory settings. It is recommended to back up data in advance;
6. After joining the testing program, the phone will not be covered by warranty.
【Unlock Tutorial】
1. Download and install the Deep Test APK, enter the Deep Test APK, connect to the Internet and log in to your OPPO account, click the "Start Application" button, follow the prompts to complete the application process, and if the application is successful, the following interface will be displayed. (Partners who have successfully submitted the review must switch the version back to the official version, and upgrade to a version that supports Deep Test when OTA detects the latest version, otherwise the review will fail);
2. On the 15th of each month, enter the deep test APK and click "Query Review Status". If the review is passed, the following interface will be displayed. Click "Start Deep Test" and the phone will automatically restart and enter Fastboot mode;
3. In Fastboot mode, unlock the phone using engineering instructions. Press the volume button to select the "Unlock The Bootloader" option. Press the power button to confirm. The phone will enter deep testing mode and clear all user data in the phone.
